Strandtown PS Achieves ECO Green Flag Status.

Last Friday, 21^st June, Strandtown Primary School was assessed for the Northern Ireland Eco Schools Green Flag award – and awarded it!

We are so proud of our Eco Committee and all the dedicated staff and pupils of Strandtown for making this possible.

We’d also like to thank Mrs Hutchinson and the Board of Governors for all their support and encouragement.

This year’s topics were Waste, Healthy Living and Outdoor Learning. Please have a look at the NI Eco School’s website to see all the other schools which were awarded the flag this year. We look forward to new initiatives next year and invite all pupils to offer their creative ideas.
