On Tuesday Room 23 and Room 21 went to the Armagh Planetarium as part of our Space topic. It was such a great trip! We got to experience a virtual tour through our Solar System and the stars as well as learn a little bit about what it is like to train to become an astronaut. We then got a chance to make our own "Jet-Powered" rockets which we fired over the hills and far away - some even ended up on the roof! We finished our day by learning about life on the International Space Station - including how the astronauts eat their food out of vacuum pouches!
